Kamil Stańczak

(born 1980) – deals with painting and installation. He graduated from the Faculty of Arts of the Maria Curie Skłodowska University in Lublin. He also creates characteristic objects and architectural models and constructs devices that can be set in motion. He chooses very specific elements from the world of wildlife, post-industrial architecture, degraded by civilization. He creates a strange and enigmatic visual landscape, suspended between reality and fiction, both natural and artificial. His works were exhibited in, among others, Lublin, Puławy, Contemporary Art Gallery in Przemyśl, the BWA Gallery in Sanok. He has participated in several group exhibitions, including 6th National Exhibition of Young Painting in the Awangarda Gallery in Wrocław, Konst Massan in Stockholm, exhibition Polish Painting the 21st century in the Zachęta Gallery in Warsaw, Maszyny Pożądające in the Fabryka Sztuki in Łódź.
