Tomasz Bielak

Born in 1967, painter, graphic artist, street art artist. He studied at the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk in the studio of prof. Hugo Lasecki, from which he graduated in 1995, as well as in the guest Interdisciplinary Studio of Robert Knuth. He is known for the so-called art-squares: small graphic forms, which constitute an abridged, artistic and philosophical commentary on the absurdities of Polish political, social or religious reality. They appear in Lublin’s Cultural Guide “ZOOM”. Since 1998, he participated in Murales Festival in Gdańsk, participated in numerous projects organized by the Biała Gallery in Lublin such as: exhibitions “Alternative Collection” (2008), “Art Yard” (2010). He lives and works in Lublin.
