Tomasz Sikorski

(born 1953) – intermedia artist, a graduate of Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He run, among others, interdisciplinary artistic and educational centre of the Academy of Fine Arts and Music Academy in Warsaw, as well as the Intermedia studio at the Faculty of Arts at the University of Zielona Góra. In the 80s he was a guest lecturer in art schools in the US. Since 2003 he is a professor at the Jan Kochanowski University, where he runs, among others, the Multimedia Activities studio. Between 2011-12 he led a sculpture studio at the Department of Interior Design Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Author of about 150 individual exhibitions, participated in over 100 group exhibitions. He has published two books: The work of art as a koan (2009) and Graffiti in Poland, 1940-2010 (2011). His work can be found, among others, in the collection of Holland Experimental Film, the National Museum in Wrocław, Muzej Suvremene umjetnosti in Zagreb and Centre for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle.
