Vlodko Kaufman (UA)
Vlodko Kaufman (UA) born 1957 – graphic artist born in Karaganda (Kazakhstan), currently lives and works in Lviv (Ukraine). He studied at the Ivan Trush Lviv College of Decorative and Applied Arts and architecture department of the Lviv Polytechnic Institute. Member of the Artistic Association “Szlach” (1989-1993), co-founder of the Dzyga Art Association and the Institute of Contemporary Art. Author of over twenty individual exhibitions and projects, participant and curator of numerous group exhibitions and artistic project in Ukraine and abroad, including the “Days of Performance Art” Festival in Lviv and “Week of Contemporary Art” in Lviv. He creates in a number of techniques: wydywo (author’s style), performance, painting, graphics, installation, land-art, video-art, happening, photography. He cooperates with Les Kurbas Academic Theatre in Lviv, Ivan Franko National Academic Drama Theater in Kiev and the Workshops of Culture in Lublin.
