Natalia Ostrowska and Agnieszka Waseńczuk

Natalia Ostrowska

Natalia Ostrowska was born in 1990. For a short time she studied at the Department of Architecture and Spatial Planning of the Silesian University of Technology. Currently she studies painting in prof. Walery Wróblewski’s studio in the Artistic Department in Lublin.
She says she treats painting as an intervention in the case of everyday life, looks for similarities in the pictorial structure and daily matter. She strives for the same juxtaposition in spatial forms – using shapes originating from nature and attempting to compose/pair them with geometrical constructions that emphasize the harmony of nature.

Agnieszka Waseńczuk
Agnieszka Waseńczuk is the student of the 4th year of Landscape Architecture at the Catholic University of Lublin and 3rd year of Painting in the studio of prof. Tomasz Zawadzki at Maria Curie-SkłodowskaUniversity.
She says that her passion towards art was born many years ago at art classes in her hometown. Many years of practicing art have developed her sense of aesthetics and enthusiasm for further creation. That was a decisive factor to enroll on landscape architecture and painting. She owes it to her studies that her attention was directed towards nature – they helped to awaken the connection with nature which was hidden deep inside her. Nature is an important aspect of her life, a magical breath of new life in everyday struggle, but also an immense potential for art.
