Krzysztof KED Olszewski
(born 1970) is a graduate of the Communication Department of the Fine Arts Academy in Poznań and complementary studies at the Direction of Photography Department at the Łódź Film School. He was awarded artistic scholarships by the City of Szczecin, Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań and the Łódź Film School. He works as a lecturer at the Artistic Schools Top-Art in Szczecin, is the curator of the 13 Muses Gallery in Szczecin and photo-editor of a literary-philosophical quarterly magazine “fo-pa”. Winner of the City of Szczecin’s Artistic Award in 2009. A visual artist, author of photo installations, creating projects from the borders of video, photography, installation and happening. In his works and artistic activities he frequently touches on the social subjects. Author of a famous photo-visual exhibition “made in poland” presented i.a. during Expo 2008 in Zaragoza. Co-author of the largest phenomena of visual art in Poland, combined with accompanying social campaigns – Inspirations Festival. The artist is connected with Szczecin – the city he chose for living and working.
